Land Acquisition Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

The Land Acquisition Engineer is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing land for development
projects. This role involves conducting technical assessments, ensuring compliance with legal and
regulatory requirements, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate land
acquisition.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

A. Land Identification & Evaluation
• Conduct site assessments to determine the suitability of land for development.
• Analyze topographical, geological, and environmental reports.
• Assess land access, utilities, and infrastructure availability.
• Perform detailed cost analyses, such as lease and purchase costs, development expenses, and
risk factors.

B. Land Technical & Legal Due Diligence
• Coordinate land surveys, feasibility studies, and geotechnical investigations.
• Review land titles, zoning laws, and land use regulations.

C. Coordination
• Work with internal departments such as Surveying, Engineering, and Legal, as well as external
agents, brokers, and government entities, to resolve any issues related to land, including postacquisition support.

D. Documentation
• Prepare technical reports on properties under investigation.

E. Technical Support
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project development and acquisition team in
acquiring properties.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geodetic Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Preferably with two (2) years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or
infrastructure projects.

Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of land surveying, zoning laws, and regulatory processes.
• Proficiency in GIS, CAD, or other mapping tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including property owners, government
officials, and legal teams.
• Good communication skills and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive, with a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to be assigned to Lucena City, Quezon.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Project Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
The Site Engineer/Project Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring
construction and land development projects to ensure timely, cost-efficient, and quality completion in
accordance with approved plans, specifications, and company standards. The role involves coordinating
with project managers, contractors, and internal departments to ensure that all works comply with safety,
environmental, and quality regulations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
A. Project Planning and Coordination
• Assist in preparing project schedules, plans, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment with
approved designs and objectives.
B. Site Supervision and Execution
• Oversee daily construction and land development activities.
• Ensure work complies with approved plans, schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards.
C. Quality Assurance and Compliance
• Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct inspections and testing.
• Address non-conformances and recommend corrective actions as needed.
D. Contractor and Resource Management
• Coordinate with contractors and review billings and progress claims.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient operations.
E. Cost and Budget Monitoring

• Prepare cost estimates and recommend cost-saving measures.
F. Reporting and Documentation

Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in construction or land development projects (roads,
drainage, utilities, and earthworks). Experience in QA/QC or horizontal construction is an advantage.

Cost Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
The Cost Engineer is responsible for the preparation of quantity takeoffs and cost estimates, monitoring
of vertical and horizontal projects cost, and preparation of weekly and monthly division accomplishment
reports.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
A. Review and endorse estimates for approval and contribute inputs that will enhance the
capabilities of the Cost Division.
B. Conduct site inspections of various projects subject to repair and completion before preparing
quantity takeoffs.
C. Prepare quantity takeoffs, project cost estimates, and schedule monitoring of all projects.
D. Conduct cost validation of projects, actual versus estimated, and compile data to serve as a
reference.
E. Monitor accomplishment reports of all vertical and horizontal projects submitted by the Project
Engineers and prepare/update the ledger for the accomplishment update of all projects.
F. Regularly update land development accomplishment reports in AutoCAD drawings as another
basis for monitoring.
G. Coordinate with the Project Engineer for project data requirements, particularly on revisions and
as-built plans, and with the Survey and Planning & Design Sections regarding revisions during
actual project implementation.
H. Prepare monthly departmental accomplishment reports for review.
I. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
